A lot of people have helped me along the way with Baseball Generations, and I’m really thankful for all of their support. But there are two people who have made an especially big impact on me and really stand out.
Kimi Ego
Kimi Ego, sister of Dr. Michael Ego, has been an important source of information and support. Dr. Ego was instrumental in Baseball Reminiscence Therapy, and since his passing in 2019, Kimi has helped carry on her brother’s work and legacy. Kimi also contributed to the wonderful book My Baseball Story: The Game’s Influence on America, which celebrates the many ways baseball has shaped people’s lives and American culture.
Jon Leonoudakis
Jon Leonoudakis has been another important contributor to Baseball Generations, bringing decades of experience as a producer, storyteller, and problem-solver. Over his career, he has worked with organizations and names including Disney, Pixar, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. His lifelong love of baseball and storytelling has made him a valuable source of ideas and support as Baseball Generations has developed.
Jon also serves on the Advisory Board of SABR’s Baseball Memories Program, which has used baseball stories and reminiscence to connect generations and communities since 2015.
